White Canada Goose

Photographer: Camille Cecere, March 17, 2008, 6:22 p.m., Rahway River Park, Rahway, New Jersey. Canon Digital Rebel XTi, EF75 - 300mm f/4-5.6 USM lens. Photo taken at: f/5.6 1/250 sec., ISO 400. Very unusual goose, never seen before nor after. Not albino, as only the brown back feathers are affected by the mutation. Was not able to find anything online to explain it, other than it is a rare genetic mutation. This goose did seem less outgoing as the rest of the flock was being fed. She kept her distance, but I managed to get a few decent shots. The lighting was perfect also.
