This Mangrove Warbler, photographed by Diane Johnson, turned up near the San Diego Sports Arena in January, only the second sighting ever in California. The subspecies of Yellow Warbler, which is found in mangroves along both coasts of Mexico, is distinctive because the male has a reddish head. Read more about the
