I've been reading Birder's World for a couple of years, and I finally got around to delving into the forums. What a wealth of knowledge!

My husband and I have been birding for several years, and seem to be getting more and more involved, so any destination tips we can pick up help us in our growing obsession.

Our favorite winter birding spot is Plum Island, Newburyport , MA and Salisbury State Park in Salisbury, MA. The Maine coast is always fun in the winter if you're interested in sea birds when they're in their breeding colors.

The Red-Winged Blackbirds have arrived in MA, so spring must be on the way!

Hey Barb, welcome to Birder's World!  We are in a little state of disorganization with the new website being setup.  Hope to see more of your posts, soon.

Again Welcome!
