The cornell course is very interesting it really helps you apreaciate how amazing our flying machines are from the diversity through out the world, to the structural make up of the feathers alowing a variety of colors, even the bone structure, for instance the bone many people know of and make wishes from the "wish" bone is thought to help with breathing while a bird is in fight simply amazing I say. The course is very deep and for me it takes a while to get it in the brain, but it's fun anyway. Right now March the 8th, their has been a number of migrants that have shown up Grackles, Robins, Red winged black birds, Tundra swans as well as some Gulls but I have yet to learn the many different speices. The snow birds are now leaving and the horned larks are not as abundant as they use to be. Exciting times ahead I say.
