Golden-headed Manakin (Ecuador)
Glenn Bartley Posted: Wed, Jun 3 2009 8:10 AM Reply

I am finally back to Canada after a long and amazing journey.  I spent my final week in Ecuador in the Amazon and it was a fantastic experience.  Here is one of the little beauties that I really wanted to photograph there.  This was a really difficult bird to photograph so I was extremely happy to come away with this one.

Its good to be home :)

First, thanks for sharing your trip. I really enjoyed my virtual trip to Ecuador.

Second, this picture is great. I think it not only captures the bird it also captures the personality of the Amazon.
