I was scouting around for a right place to camo myself from this  skittish Common Kingfisher until I saw him dive down to a river and got his prey in his mouth . Its was almost going to have a thundery heavy shower when I goth this shot .This photo was shot by Nikon D3s ( A/A Filter removed) with Nikon 800mm F5.6 ED-IF AiS (Slot-in Filter by 52mm  BW XS Pro UV Nano MRC )  plus Nikon TC14B Telecoverter .Photographic equipments was sitting on Manfrotto 526 Pro Fluid Head with Manfrotto 536 Pro Carbon tripod . Raw Software by Adobe CS6 Extended with Topaz plugin . ISO 1600 ,EV-2/3 , F8.0 , Speed 1/1250,  WB 5600 .

    Wow! What an awesome shot! I love the contrast of the colorful bird against a grey background and the fact that you caught the bird in the act of eating shows great detail!
