This Giant Kingfisher was sitting on a bridge over a river searching for food. It was taken at Lower Sabie, Kruger National Park in South Africa. I was using a Canon PowerShot SX40 HS and a 4.3-150.5mm lens.
Very nice shot. It appears that the bird allowed you to approach rather close for the shot. About how far were you from the bird when you took this great shot?
