I watched a pair of Golden-hooded Tanagers building a nest along a river in southeast Belize in late March 2012. Here, the male conveniently poses on a branch with nesting material just before flying to the nest in progress. I took the photo with a Canon 7D, 1.4x teleconverter, 400mm f/2.8, 1/250 sec.
