    In 2009, I walked into a barn on a friend's farm and flushed this Barn Owl. The owl flew to the top of a ladder affixed to a silo and let me take lots of pictures, not paying me much attention. Photographed in Sumter County, Georgia.

    I finally got a picture of an owl! This owl was sitting alongside a road. He didn't seem too bothered by us stopping to take his picture. This was taken with a Nikon D5100 and Sigma 150-500 lens. It has not been cropped.
