On my lunch break I went down to the pond near where I work to watch the birds and relax. This Canvasback was also taking his lunch diving for food. Canon 40D 100-400mm lens.

This was taken at Lac le Jeune in the Kamloops district in the province of British Columbia, Canada. It was early one morning, just after daybreak. Nikon D300S and Nikkor 500 f4 lens.

I was looking at the pictures I took today and saw this. My husband said he didn't know Canvasbacks ate fish. The photo was taken with a Nikon D5100 and Sigma 150-500 lens on the Mississippi River.
