    It was a very breezy morning just upstream from the Lachine Rapids on the Island of Montreal. This kestrel was giving me a coy look, probably because the branch it was sitting on was about 12 feet high, in a very deep cut into the bank of the river. Taken with a Canon 40D, 100 - 400mm lens.
