The photograph was taken on the 27th Nov 2012. After several hours of searching the backroads I found this Owl sitting on a telegraph pole by the side of a highway in the prairies East of Calgary. The camera used was a Canon EOS Rebel T4i and Canon EF 400mm f/5.6 L USM lens. The photograph was taken at 1/4000 sec, f5.6, ISO-100, focal length 400mm.
