In the fields around the Brownsville and Harlingen, TX areas there were many of these Long-billed Curlews, a fairly large shorebird. I rather liked the vegetation surrounding this bird. Equipment: Canon 7D, EF300mm f/4L IS + 1.4X, handheld, 1/640 @ f/9, ISO 400
