Once the heat started to intensify, the water level at the troth where I placed my blind started to lower. It was quite entertaining to see lots of birds attempt to drink from the troth. The Common Ground-Dove, in the background, simply couldn't reach the water level to drink at all, but this Summer Tanager could, with a little help from his wings for balance.
