Mandarin Duck

On November 10 2012 I had the great good fortune of  "discovering" this male Mandarin Duck at suburban, busy Averill Park here in coastal LA County's San Pedro. It was with the Mallards, and has now been there for nearly 2 months. The camera used was a Canon 7D with the 500 f/4 IS L lens, shot in RAW,  ISO 640, f/4 @ 1/320 sec.
