This Common Yellowthroat was hopping around quickly inside a patch of thorn bushes in my backyard yesterday morning in northwest Vermont. I listened and searched for him over and over, trying to get a good shot, but he wouldn't come into the clear. This is the best picture of the bunch, it was taken with a Nikon D5100 using a Nikkor 300mm f/4D lens at f/4, 1/1250s, ISO 400 (auto mode).
