Red-tailed Hawk: This ghostly Red-tailed Hawk was seen in northern Arizona last November. Online member dlv snapped this shot.
Northern Mockingbird: Wahoo Woman found this Northern Mockingbird in central Florida.
Spotted Sandpiper: newfoundlander61 came upon this spot-free Spotted Sandpiper at a local conservation area in Kingston, Ontario, in July 2009. The shorebird was accompanied by another Spotted Sandpiper with typical plumage.
Wood Duck: RonStorey discovered this atypical Wood Duck floating contentedly in a local pond.
Dark-eyed Junco: cdbtx took this photo of a Dark-eyed Junco. It hung around for a day and a half near Monroe, Washington
